FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Completed in 2017, renovations to The Tom Bradley International Terminal were the first major improvements to LAX in 25 years.
Construction, which doubled the size of the existing facility, took place while the terminal was fully operational, and it was the first LAX renovation project to incorporate LEED design.
The project team specified CAFCO® 300 for the fireproofing, the most widely specified commercial density, Wet Mix Spray-Applied Fire Resistive Material (SFRM) in the world. CAFCO 300 offers LEED building credits for its recycled content.
