FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Isolatek International, the world leader in advancing passive fireproofing technology, is supplying its CAFCO 400 to the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s (NJIT) new Wellness Center in Newark, New Jersey. At a project value of $102 million, this building will be constructed on the current site of Lubetkin Field. It will extend across the length of the field, which will later be rebuilt on the north side of the new wellness center. The project is slated for completion in the fall of 2017. The application will be performed by National Fireproofing Inc. an ISOLATEK Recognized Applicator.
The renovation plan reflects the university’s evolution from a commuter school to a nationally-ranked research university. The project includes a 4,000 seat event center, conference space, natatorium, an indoor track, indoor turf field, two multipurpose gymnasiums, student social space, and intercollegiate athletics support.
